Celebrate our nation's Independence by attending Macy's 38th Annual Fourth of July Fireworks in NYC 2014. Watch the sky light up with breathtaking explosions of color above one of the nation's most famous landmarks, the Brooklyn Bridge. One of New York City's most popular Independence Day events, Macy's Fireworks in NYC features plenty of star-studded entertainment. This year's event will include musical performances from up-and-coming stars, such as Grammy-nominated Hunter Hayes and Ariana Grande, whose debut album, Yours Truly was certified double platinum by the RIAA. The event will also feature live performances from music icon Lionel Richie, who's sold more than 100 million albums worldwide. Guests will also hear new songs by The Charlie Daniels Band, Tony award-winning artists Billy Porter and Idina Menzel, choral vocals from New York City's very own Essential Voices USA, along with a 25-minute musical score by The DIVA Jazz Orchestra in honor of The Star Spangled Banner's 200th anniversary. Hosted by Nick Cannon and televised by NBC, Macy's Fireworks show will begin at 8 p.m. and is free to the public. The retailer works closely with local agencies to clear over 2 miles of public viewing space. For more information, contact Macy's Fireworks hotline at 212-494-4495.
